Kutani Delicately Painted Cream and Covered Sugar

Fat quail are delicately painted amidst the weeds and below brilliant peonies on this lovely pair of fluted porcelain serving pieces.  The creamer is covered, with a gold flower on the rounded finial.  The sugar bowl and creamer both have applied handles.  The sugar bowl measures 3 1/4 inches high without it's lid, and 4 inches to the finial.  The creamer is just 2 1/2 inches high.  Both pieces have a bluish white cast to the glaze.  There is a raised Kutani province mark on the porcelain itself, under the glaze, on the sugar bowl.  It defies my photography skills.
