Pair of Late Qing Dynasty Sauce Dishes
The Qing dynasty Chinese: ?">? ?">?; also Empire of the Great Qing, Great Qing or Manchu dynasty, was the last imperial dynasty of China, ruling from 1644 to 1912 with a brief but abortive restoration, in 1917. The Qing multi-cultural empire lasted almost three centuries and formed the territorial base for the modern Chinese nation. These sauce dishes are from the late Qing dynasty, copper red oxide in decoration. The bases are unglazed, and signed with the artists name. From the Neuman Collection.
